• We just wrapped up our annual Deep Tech Night party that included discussions, a startup challenge and an interview with the most notable person in technology, media, and startups industry.

Almost 150 startup founders and VCs reps made it to the Java Rooftop from Web Summit to meet our team, listen to Mike Butcher and see the startup challenge pitches. We won’t get bogged down in the details, so here is a brief roundup:

Out of more than 100 startups applied, six deeptech companies have made it to the shortlist of the Deep Tech Night Startup Challenge. MediXSpace won the Pitch competition judged by the fund’s partners and Mike Butcher! Congrats to the team!

During the panel “Common Mistakes Deeptech Startups Do When Pitching VCs and Media”, Editor-at-Large of Techcrunch Mike Butcher shared his knowledge. Find out now how to get your startup noticed by reporters and VCs.

• We are launching a series of events for deeptech startups. Our partners will take you through how to attract investments, prepare for DD, boost sales and scale, taking into account the specifics of the deeptech organizations.

The events will be held in partnership with the most active startup hubs. We are starting with Ingria Business Incubator, and in the near future, look forward to running webinars in partnership with Ukrainian and Kazakh partners!

On November 24, together with Konstantin Siniushin and Alexander Farseev we will talk about how to choose an investor, the peculiarities of attracting investments abroad and share life hacks, and what to look for in the first place when communicating with funds.
